For those of you who know me personally, I'm sure you realize why I am such a fan of this house and neighborhood. 30 Jeffrey Road (also see -Greenwich Real Estate - 30 Jeffrey) is a great house/site in a great location. The house itself is in good condition, but could use some upgrading; many people would take advantage of the 1 acre zoning/FAR and would add a floor and really build out the home. It sits on a great piece of property on one of my favorite streets in Greenwich. Just off Stanwich Road, Jeffrey sits on the western end of central Greenwich, right up the street from Cos Cob.
I like this location because is is easy to get everywhere in town. Two minutes from the Boston Post Road, you sit directly between downtown Greenwich and Old Greenwich/Riverside, while still maintaining North Street/Central schools. In addition to the central location, Jeffrey Road and Castle Court combine to make a double cul-de-sac. No thru traffic! Great for kids - there are dirt cut-throughs to Pine Ridge Road and Coachlamp Land for people to walk and bike to Central Middle School, Rinaldis, Montgomery Pinetum, Cos Cob, etc..., but there is very little car traffic (only to the few houses on the street).
